James Henry Bowman, private (muster roll Aug 16th 1861, Peoria, Illinois, IM 1888. On Nov. 20th was commissioned to the grade of 1st lieutenant, Company D, 47th Illinois Infantry to take effect Dec. 1st 1864. He was mustered out on Jan 21st 1866.
