I have no personal information on Capt. Abram D. Daugherty other than he married Abbie Maria Conant 17 May 1871. Abbie Maria Conant (1845-1916), was the daughter of Peter Horace Conant (1809- ? ) and Sarah Maria Bowers (1813-1876). I believe this album belonged to Abbie, and within it's pages were many images of officers of the 12th Regiment, Illinois Infantry. Perhaps someone else will be able to unearth the specifics on Abram Daugherty.
