Son of Lt. Col William Kinman, born 6 Sept. 1844 Pike Co. IL and was a recruit enlisted on 6 Aug 1864 after his father's death at Chickamauga 20 Sept. 1863. He died at Huntsville, AL 24 Feb. 1865. Body was sent home and buried in Diamond Grove Cem. Jacksonville, IL.
